I can’t tell you how excited I was to get an email letting me know that I was named one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting this year.
Here’s what it said:
“Hi Monique, It is with great excitement that I share the news: you’ve been named one of the ‘Top 50 Women in Accounting’ for 2024! Congratulations! Your outstanding leadership, expertise, and unwavering dedication to the accounting field have earned you this well-deserved recognition.”After being nominated 5 years in a row, and submitting responses to questions that got considerably more complex each year, I didn’t think it was EVER going to happen. So it was both a total delight and honor to receive the award this year. I’m incredibly humbled. Although 2024 has been a BIG year with lots of great wins, this means the most to me of all of them, because helping other women succeed remains one of the most important aspects of my business. That’s saying a lot because I also:
- Was named back to the Insightful Accountant Top 100 ProAdvisors in 2024.
- Received the Woodard Top 50 Accounting Firms for 2024.
- Had two of my talks accepted for QBO Connect
I think it’s fair to say, this is my biggest, best year yet–and I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished. It’s all possible because of great clients and an exceptional team. Congratulations to the other winners and to all the amazing women out there making a difference in this field and the world!
